Registration not working

Are you aware that it is not possible to register anymore as the recaptcha function is now obsolete

When they click on register the case that they check to consent to get and email isn't working accurately. How might I change this so it works

As far as I know, we don't currently have e-mail confirmation for new accounts. Or working e-mail-based password recovery, for that matter...
