I wonder if the New Dune will be faithfull to Frank Herberts original book?
Having watched the trailers on YouTube for the Dune (2021) I'm starting to get a bad feeling about the adaptation.
Being a bit of a purist I don't like the way they have changed the sex of Liet Kynes.
The original Liet Kynes was the Father of Chani who was the concubine of Emperor Paul Atreides and is a major figure in the book.
This introduces what I see as a major plot inconsistency. There are plenty of strong female character's in the book why do we need another.

Wouldn't it be a shame to see this movie whose photo should be a fantastic work of art with a cam version ?
