Just wondering if anyone can recommend any really good games along the same lines at Command & Conquer Generals to play over a LAN. There are 3 computers connected to it and we play C&C a lot but want another game of similar theme (not fps as with only 3 they arent much fun)

age of mythology is pretty good, i perfer the older version tho. and the outcast is pretty cool. i used to sit down with friends and play that game 24/7.
I remember playin Age Of Empires 1 online awhile back..
ahh the classics.
That game is very basic compared to AOE 2 so war/strat newbies should try AOE 1.. or Stronghold as it is way different in gameplay.
Will try some of those...

in my oppinion the best multiplayer RTS is tiberian sun. tech level seven and as many bots as possible on a big map with lots of tiberium. HUGE battles is fun :D
Warcraft 3, but you just have to watch the hero often.
I usually hate strategy games, but I found Rise of Nations really enjoyable.
