i ordered my new computer last week and the 2nd lot of the parts are coming tomorrow.
i got a flat 17" crt. £77
biostar nfroce2 board £37
athlon 2500 barton(retail) £74
512mb crucial pc2700 ram £54
4 in 1 case pack. £29
ati radeon 9200se 128mb £38
black floppy £5
black sony dvd rom £24
and a rounded ide cables, couple fans, and thumb screws.
total £350. and im using 80gb maxtor drive and old cd-rw aswell,
what you think for specs? i should get it built tomorrow depending on when parts come
looks like a very nice spec for the money :)
it is quite a budget upgrade.
but it should be a big jump from current system.
amd k6-2 500
256mb ram
vodoo 3 2000
basic spec there.
but i use my laptop all the time coz the computers so crap.

i know, thats what i was looking for really, i wasnt gonna spend say £65 on a throughbred when i could get a barton for £74 wanted it cheap, and good value for money. and to go pretty good aswell.

I didn't see any lights in your specs...
that should do u well until you can afford to build one again....or you could save up after buildign that for a new vid card and u would have a decent gaming machineQuote:
