Reinstall vid drivers / directx. :P
Make sure you have NO ANTIVIRUS OR ANY OTHER PROGRAMS RUNNING while installing drivers.
Oh yeah, and change around some options in Options>Display etc etc...
Change resolutions and see what it looks like ingame because the display options do jackshit outside of the actual gameplay.

didnt you post this in hardware world? and didnt you say that it plays perfectly fine on your older hdd? and didnt you say it was your gfx card thats doing it?
