I have 512 MB RAM, and its fine for me, I always have about 300 free unless playing games. I said it works because when I force it to free RAM, it always does. But I have it because it shows my CPU usage, uptime, virtual memory, load (whatever the heck that is), and free ram.
well i got rid of it :)
