i know kazaa lite is illegal in the sense that the copyrighted code was taken from sharman, but is clean kmd illegal?
EDIT: i'm not talking about being able to do illegal things ont he programs. i'm talkgina btou the programs themselves.
The same applies for all other clean versions of Kazaa.
kazaa is legal , its the files that people or riaa think that are illegal ;)
The files being shared that breech copyright laws are illegal (e.g. copied DVD's cracked software etc) - which is what most people use K++ and P2P programs to download. The official Kazaa is not illegal on its own (I believe Sharman have won court cases which prove this). K++ is illegal as it breeches Sharmans rules of use (as it modifies the actual program).
