Playing Cd's In My Dvd Drive

When I am playing a CD in my DVDROM drive, when going to the next track I get a slight hesitation between tracks how do I fix this? I didn’t know if this was a hardware or software, to play CD’s I use winamp, would it be a setting in that I need to change?

Your DVD drive may have a lower CD reading speed that your CD drive.
