Hey, I successfully made and ISO of Diablo 2 just a few minutes ago, but also wanted to make one of Paintbrawl 3. I popped in the disk, opened Alcohol, said make an image, was not provided with an option for ISO this time though, so i shrugged it off and said .cue, changed the speed from max to only 8X and started the image making
However, all was fine untill i got to 74% done, then i got read error after read error and it would not finish! how do i fix this and what does it mean? and why wasnt i given the option for ISO with this disk when i was with the last?
Oh and i am quite sure the CD is copyrited but i didn't think that would matter?
Thanks

The disk may be scratched and/or messed up.
-
thats the thing though...
theres no scratches on it, and its a cd that was originally bought so there shouldn't be anything "messed up" with it, it cant get corrupted can it?

nah, not corrupted
alcohol can handle a lot of copy protection, but not all
think it even says that in the faq or at the home page
example, i've did my fair share of copying w/alcohol, no problems
then my nephew got x-men 2 for christmas
tried to make an image and alcohol couldnt do it
try out other warez, dont have to dump alcohol, (i wouldnt)
but see if another app will cover it
expand your mind, and your ripping ability    :P

any idea of some software that could do it? cuz from what i've heard alcohol is the best
i dont even really know of any others, let alone which ones are good, so some suggestions would be good
