I just got Partition Magic 8.0 installed everything, and i created a new partion aplied changes and then the computer asked me restart, and then out of no where when it boots up its says Y(i i)Y(i i) and i messed around with the computer a little bit to the point where it would ask me to insert boot disk, and everytime i inserted the boot disk nothing would happen. So i decided to install Windows 98 and from there install Win XP. But my problem is that everytime i try to install this error comes on in a blue screen:
stop:c000021 unknown hard error
\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll
Any one got an idea what went wrong or how this problem can be fixed.
Thanks.

where did you get partition magic 8 from?
-
k-lite
Does it matter where it got it from?
-
yeah it could be corrupt ;)
-
Well i got rid of everything formated my C: drive, now all i need is to install windows xp
-
yeah have you a copy of it? do a clean install not an upgrade...this way you can avoid errors. remebr to use ntfs
-
that's exactly what i do, and the error comes up.
Very confusing.
-
is your winxp cd from k-lite if yes then it may well be corrupt like most stuff on it. ;)
-
I don't think it is since i've used it many times to install windows xp
