Maybe its the host of the image, I had my avatar hosted on geocities server, and It wouldn't show up, so I moved it to my school server and it shows up perfectly now. So its possible the hoster is blocking other websites from accessing the files.
it would be anyway for 2 sec. until my real host gets up
