G'day all,
I am trying to install sim city 4 and at about 47% it asks to install disc 2......well i cant do that because i have all the files on the hard drive so i am stuck. :(
I have tried having 2 folders (Disc 1 and Disc 2) but that doesn't help. I have expanded the files ok and the install starts fine, its just the Disc 2 that is letting me down.
Can anyone help me out with what i am doing wrong...cheers in advance :D
You could mount the Disc 1 and Disc 2 images (if thats what they are) in virtual drives created by Daemon Tools.
btw, what format are the files in?
OK I dont know much about this type of stuff, bit of an old fart u see ;)
Downloaded the files as bin and cue files, extracted the bin files with winIso, each file 2 its own folder, tried to install and got the Insert disc 2 message??
So stuck i am :(

You need to get a program called... Daemon tools. Get it here...

Once you have installed it, don't extract the BIN/CUE's for Sim City 4 with WinISO. Just mount the first BIN (disk 1) for Sim City 4 with Daemon Tools, then when it ask for the second disk, just unmount disk 1, and mount disk 2. :)
