Was thinking about upgrading, but with all these clones out there, which would you guys say is best?

I'd say 2.4.3 and install the updated version of KLExtensions. Or if it's easier, go for the clean KMD as it has been updated for you.
I use 2 versions at the moment: Clean KMD v2.4.4 and K- Lite v2.6 PR1... B)
I suggest to stay with Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3 or Clean KMD 2.4.4 :D
