My french provider forwarded me a message from Universal... well watch out what you're downloading.

In french, it says that i should stop downloading stuff if i don't have the rights not to get into troubles and be prosecuted...
and what is a "PGP SIGNED MESSAGE" ?

If you don't want to pay, then there are free proxy servers as well, but they are probably slower. I'm not sure, I've never actually tried one.
But I've heard that BitTorrent is one of the most dangerous networks to get films from, because it's easy for the company who owns the film to see who's uploading/downloading.

Paramount Pictures is using BayTSP, Inc. ("BayTSP") has been very agressive sending out notices.
Universal has been the most aggress lately, too. Mainly becuase there stock is down and they need to generate more money to keep the lights on
