How To Increase Ac3 Audio Volume

they are always very very low in volume
which I don't know why
and I know I can turn my speaker volume up all the way
but it just feels not right...

Start -> programs -> K-lite codec pack -> config. -> AC3

Is it just ac3 volume or is the volume low in general on your system? If so,

control panel> sounds and audio devices

sorry I cannot find the ac3 option here

Video Lan plays movies alot louder (200%)
and the Matrix something or other enhances sound also

I had this problem before. To fix it, go to Start-->Programs-->AC3 Filter-->AC3 Filter Config. and turn up the Master and Gain volume to max. You may need to install the seperate AC3 filter from here
