HI,
I am new at this. Last year I downloaded Kazaa lite version 1.7.2.
I dont use it much and just went to download some songs yesterday for the first time in about2 months.
My "search" button was grayed out and I could not search for anything.
now today, I started up kazaa and its letting me search.
why?
Also When I log on, it asks me if I want to upgrade to version 2.0.2 (I think thats it)
should I do it? or is that going to put ads on my computer?

Sounds as if you weren't connected to the FastTrack network at the time..
your klite was not conneted that is why search was gray. don't update from that message it will install kmd on your desktop. klite never had an update message.Quote:

your version is very old we are up to klite 2.4.4 or klite 2.6(test build based on the new knd 2.6) we also have klr which picked up where klite has left off.

if you follow the link i gave you boss you question would have been answered, you are missng kazupernodes updates, extensions updates and more
