Dues Ex 2 Question

I am really wanting to buy Dues Ex 2 but on the back of the box it says “No MX supported) would it still run?

well it looks like its ok, it should play at medium to low settings smoothly.

but sence when did dues ex2 come out?

100% No, i downloaded it and i have MX and it installs but when you click to play it, it tells you that you have a shit grfx card and willl not play.

No way.

No it won't, Deus Ex 2 needs a feature that MX440's dont have, as does Prince of Persia.

That game doesnt work doesnt matter what GFX card you have, i have a 256 MB FX 5600, i reckon is not the best graphic card out there but C'mon, i tried to play it in the lowest settings at 640*480 and i hardly got 20 FPS, the game was just made for console and not well ported....

The patch improves frame rate quite a lot, and the cd crack that came originally with the ISOs works when patched.

Look for tweaks and a high rez texture pack on the Deus Ex 2 forum too.

Yeah i've seen screenshots of that hi-res texture pack, unbeleivable, makes you wonder why they didnt include them in the first place.
