whenever i try to acess system restore through acessories- system tools- system resotre, i get an error message that says: "rstrui.exe- Unable to locate component. The application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Grab the dll from here
Place it in your \Windows\System32 or \Windows\System folder
Then try and launch system restore again. You may have to reboot. :)

it just gets you to disable restore, restart and re enable restaore
but if you use google there are lots of entries on this problem , let your fingers do the walking
