i have my computer set up to automatically update windows updates and then ask me when to install the downloads. However, when i open up IE sometimes, it takes me to the windows update page automatically to update my computer. Does anyone know why it does this? especially since I'm already getting the necessary updates?
Turn off your automatic updates and do it manually...you should never have anything update itself to your PC...you leave your self open for problems...i always update manually...that is just my opinion :devil:
Ya I only take the critical updates not the drivers or xp updates unless I'm useing said program. Manual is the only way to go :)
