You'll have to erase your attributes.cfg again, sorry for that. I promise I'll find a way to automate that in the release version. Another modification I'm very excited about greatly improves distributed network functionality, but we won't get to see just how well until most everyone uses this or more likely a future version.
let me know how it works for you!
Its been a while since I open the SoulSeek doors... I decided to pop in this week, and I remembered why I stopped using this progie... could it be that it takes almost 10 minutes to open the program? P4 2.8ghz, 1gig of ram, blah blah blah... try loading 60,000 mp3s into it, and see if YOU can get on...there have been 3 new versions of this program since I've gone... and still, the same problem still appears... is there any hope that this problem will be corrected?
The more files you share, the longer the boot.
Mine is about 7 and a half. :P
SS has it drawbacks but for a free service it aint really that bad.
Plus, i hardly reboot it.
Only if needed.

Jibbler.......four words come to mind:
STFU
:P
Kidding...
Seriously....10 minutes - how about starting the program before you do anything else with your day...then when you return, it will be going. Really, to complain about the program after all it has given you - it's not in you character. Really catching me by surprise with your complaint.
And as for the new versions - they are Test Versions - stay with the official releases until the testing is done.
Of course I'm happy because DC++, FTPs and the Newsgroups all seem to be great resources as well - so I'm never without a source.
C'mon, it's not that bad, is it?
We want you back!
