But honestly, what's the plan ? Tie the dog to the PC ? Tape a webcam to his collar ?

You can set up an image server on a certain port, type your IP and port number and it gets the image; every time you reload it snaps another picture. Also you can view the pictures and which IP's viewed the picture. ;)
