Dat File In Shared Folder But Can't Complete

My first post so hope in the correct location etc. Like many on these pages I've frustratingly downloaded 90%-plus of a large video file but can't seem to complete. The DAT file is sitting in my shared folder and can be viewed with a AVI preview or in a DiVX player so it doesn't appear to be corrupted. However it does not show in KL traffic pages so I cannot download the remaining 8% of the movie. Any ideas? (I have tried turning KL off and restarting but to no avail).

The file's probably corrupted, download Kazaa Corruption Fixer.

When I tried putting the corrupted file into the KChecker the program could not find the CRC directory (or it didn't exist).

To use the Kazaa Corruption Fixer do I need to start downloading an equivalent file to fix the first one?

1 Copy it.

2 rename it (whatever you like).avi or .mpg

3 See if it plays and if you have enough of it not to need the rest.
