Just Downloaded A Movie - Help!

ok so i just finished downloading half baked 1.5 gigs. it is a .rar file and what steps do i need to follow if i just want to simply watch the movie on my computer?

first read this about rar files

then make sure you have a codec pack install
k-lite codec pack is good

and use a player like bsplayer to watch it

or just use vidoelan to watch it without installing a codec pack

im still confused. :frusty:

i extracted the first file like the guide said and then i went to that folder to find ANOTHER .rar file i opened that up and saw a "crm-hb1.bin" file and i guess i try to extract that, and i get an error halfway through..

im completely lost. any help is appreciated.

is there also a .cue file when you try to extract the .bin ? if there isnt a .cue it means the .bin cannot be extracted and file is corrupted...

are there stepbystep ways to do this? im completely lost. theres two cds in the main thing and a million files in each one. i dont know what to extract what. whats the easiest way to play it?

ok this is what ive done so far..

1. extract everything in cd1
2. clicked crm-hb.rar
3. there was a .bin and a .cue file
4. right now the .bin is extracting..
5. what do i do once its done to play it? have i done things right?

edit - it finished extracting and the file opened up in windows media player.. sweet.

When u d/led the movie was it first in a .tar format or .rar?

try this go download winrar if you dont have it already.start by unzipping the first file nr1 file, nr 1 cd file winrar will automaticly unzip the rest of the files .after unziping you should be able to wacht those files and burn them to cd or dvd.
