How Do I Start A Pc In Safe Mode ?

Can someone please tell me how to start a pc in safe mode, i need to do this in order to activate XP (pireted) , please...

Press F8 (I think) when You boot up, You should see a list of commands after that.

Or Start > Run... > msconfig > Boot.ini > Safeboot

Alternatively, you can wrap it in a really big condom. :)
