Right this might sound a bit dumb but here goes.......i have downloaded a movie from kazZa and i am wanting to burn it onto CD..BUT the dvd burner can only burn certain types of files...can anyone tell me where i can convert it to the correct file so i am able to bur it onto DVD ??

Burn it as data, this will burn any file type. The other file types for burning are for particular puposes i.e to play on a dvd player, bootable disk etc.
