Whenever i open a movie or mp3 or something in wmp, close wmp and open something else nothing happens and i can tget the clip to run. the mouse changes to the hour clock for about a second and then nothing. the only way to get it to work is to press cntrl alt delete and in procceses close wmplayer.exe
anyone know why?

yes this happens to me, WMP is a POS, now running the beta version of WMP10, and its better than 9 and all other versions, although it does freeze during movies occasionally :rolleyes: yet its still better...shows teh crap that MS puts out.
try using video lan or media player classic for movies, and for audio musicmatch or winamp.
