This morning I booted and it took about 1 hour and a half to boot I was going crazy wondering what was wrong it just said Updating files this might take a few minutes and then it kept saying "Can't upgrade from 1% to 2% file or something then after all that time it just said press enter to continue I did and it booted normally.
usually happens after you have done a update or just loaded a program have had it happen to me
Well, was it only that once? If you reboot again, that problem shouldn't happen.
BTW, (since I can't resist pushing my opinion on WinME) you should really try to stay away from ME. Windows 2000 is easy to get and is actually stable. If you can get it, I highly recommend you backup your data and do a clean install. You'd be surprised how different the two are.
