Hnc?

Can anyone tell me what it means? :huh:
I find it behind some of the courses I wanted to apply for but I can't find it's meaning anywhere :unsure:

I think one year of college you get an hnc, two years an hnd (higher naional diploma), three years a degree, four an hons degree....that is very roughly speaking, an hnc normally takes a year an hnd takes two years that sorta thing :)
