Is There A Way I Can Remove Subs From A Movie?

hi basically what the title say

ive just downloaded STUCK ON YOU and it has JAP subs? anyway to remove them?

if the subs are encoded into the vid stream, you don't even wanna go there. it's a pain and the result will be less than good.
