Anyone know a good way of cleaning the inside of the computer without damaging anyhting is a hoover ok and blowing dust off and capturing it with the hoover.
The main thing is i have dust under the CPU fan in the metal grid thingy and not sure of to clean it has the hoover does not fit in their.
Here is a picture of what i mean its noy CPU just someone's on the net.

Any tips on the CPU fan thing and cleaning everything else.
Also to add i cannot take my CPU fan off to my knowledge its a Pentium $ one and not sure how its all technical

you could carefully unscrew teh fan off of the top of the heatsync, then "hoover" it.
Then just "hoover" around teh rest of the case and the motherboard.
One thing that i wanna say, but im not so sure anymore if this is right, is you should stick a pencil into any fans that may spin when you vacuum the, becuase the excessive spinnning wears out teh bearings. Again not sure if this is right, but you might as well do it just incase.

Hes kinda hard to understand...but its called a heatsink...use compressed air to blow it out or something

I will see what i can do when i looked at my CPU fan i could notsee screws just to big metal bars either side maybe it has something to do with them. Well i will check it out 2morow when u have a look.

Those metal clips are what hold teh heatsync to the motherboard\cpu\processor\socket\whatever you want to call it. They have nothing to do with the fan, well they might, maybe the fan's screws are under the clips, but don't remove them.
If you can't get it off without taking off teh heatsync, then u better jsut try to clen it best u can without removing anything.
If you want to remove the heatsync, you will need to buy some new thermal paste to put on, the thermal pad already there can be used only once.

i just took my fan off my heatsink and washed the heatsink off under warm water and MADE SHURE IT WAS TOTALY DRIED OFF BEFORE RE-INSTALLING. :)

Sorry about typing i was in a rush.
I will give it a good hoover and blow on heatsink and have the hoover near to it. Thanks for tips once again.
