Hi, I'm a newbie to this and have tried downloading some movies clips (wmv) and find that when I try to play them I get the message "acquiring license" which just takes me to a dodgy web site?
Anyone know whats going on and if .WMV file extensions don't work why do people share them?
I have downloaded the codec pack and also the VLC player but no luck.
Help?

it can remove DRM protection from DRM protected WMV files if you have the licence
unlike other DRM removal tools it does not re-encode the video it justs removes the DRM protection in a second
i used on some files i downloaded from bigsausagepizza it worked like charm lol
google it up and be aware that it only works with WMP 10 and earlier
