i'm designing a site for a friend's company, it has to be 100% proffesional (i'm new to making a job 100% serious and proffesinal) which made me thought that i could use photoshop to design the site, however i need some tutorial, resource, guide, whatever for some effects (text effects, image effects, whatever) to help me.

Photoshop writes really wanky html. I found this out the hard way
Use Photoshop to make the page and slice it, but for fucksake don't use the html from it - use Dreamweaver, Frontpage or even Notepad to create the html, and just use the slices as table backgrounds. You'll get a much better website from it, without all the resizing problems, and it'll be more likely to work in a variety of browsers instead of just IE.
Here's a handy link for you - http://www.skinsntemplates.com/view.php?id...o%20Dreamweaver
Hope this helps :)
