Where Should I Report A Virus?

I downloaded a file that contained a virus and my Norton deleted it automatically. I was wondering if it was important to report this file to the group moderators in case you have the ability to go after the source.

Yes, I may be a bit naive about these things and surely you're going to tell me there are thousands of viruses out there, but....I wasn't sure, so I just thought I'd let someone know.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the file except that it was called:
109047416912600328 when it was listed as a .dat file and Norton said it was called W32.netsky.P@mm.

Let me know if I don't need to do this in the future.

Happens all the time with kazaa lite, no need to report it. they can't catch the file, too many people have it. :(


Mihgt i suggest you start using a different P2P app? viruses, fakes and that awful screeching sound are all too often on kazaa lite.

try winmx for music (interface is ugly, but it gets the job done, very very well)

use bittorrent for games and movies and other apps.

those are the main pprograms i use, along with kazaa lite occasionally.

emule i like for serials\keygens and cracks.

I just learned about bit torrents and so am doing some downloading in that realm. Now, to sift through the guides to learn about conversion, authoring, etc!!!
What do you think of emule for general file searches, as I USED to do in Klite? USED to now being the operative word. :D

By the way, what IS that awful screeching sound and where does it come from?

RIAA made those noises and recorded it ( :P ) then shared it on kazaa with a lot of differnt names so it got spread around to a lot of songs and now u see what happened. :angry:
