I don't have much experience with it though
geocities.com has always treated me good. not a lot of space or bandwith, but its good enough just for a personal page. :)

On the experience part for freesites.ws I must say I found it about a week ago when I was searching for a new host, and have had nothing go wrong since, it's excellent. Occasional downtime is the only thing I've noticed, and it's only for a few minutes.
