I thin k the E stands for extreme edition.
as in the inten pentium 4 EXTREME Edition.
just a faster version of the 3.2ghz chip.
We did have a noob's guide to ocing but it seems to have gone. I know Peerzy may have had it taken down when he 'left' but he never did...so where is it?
extreme eh...wohoo!
anyways...would overclocking benefit me? i am a kin noob in this dept...
if E means extreme what does C mean?
Well Intels do not overlock easily for some reason on my 3.2 i can change core frequency in the BIOS in the volatge and frequency section. What is that its at 200 right now and can go to 233
Ok E is not Extreme Edition. EE is extreme edition. E means it is PRESCOTT, C means it is Northwood.
Prescott? Northwood?
