tv capturing

i have a tv card ... on my comp .... i record stuff from it ....... works perfectly .... but only one problem......after recording... the playback is very very very bad.....sooo..... are there any programs or stuff u use to record t.v. on ur comp ?????????

try to convert it with Xvid or Divx

which program do i use fro that ?????
