My son got shoplifting at target, he tried to steal a 20 dollar game, they cuffed him and took him to the police station where they got all the info, i went to pick him up in the police station, they said he has to go to court, what will they do their? I am very worried, will it effect my sons education and what will be the punishment? He is 15
Depends, over here it'd be a slap on the wrist and a letter home to mum.

Here in the US, they might fine him and make him do community service. It won't stay on his record if he doesn't keep getting in trouble. Juvenile records are sealed when thay become "of age".

just buy him a hd loader if he has a ps2, then he wouldn't have to steal games
