Free Computer Associates EZ Trust 2005 antivirus
B4 I install this, can anyone tell me if its a good prog and worth it?

I thought it was crap. It came with my security update cd from microsoft.
it has no residential scanner so it's only good to scan the drive. (unless this is a new version).

A few people i know are using it...when they first received their SP1 disk this was included with it...they seem to like it ok...they have had no problems or complaints about it...but thats because it"s free....when it comes to to renew(purchase)there are better AV"s to use...such as...nod32 or Panda to name a couple.imo

Is either of them free? I'm looking for a free AV thats good..AVG is good but confusses spyware for viruses.

No there not free...you get what you pay for...if you want a free one try here: i would recommend avast! Home Edition..http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/security/fwvirus.html

Personally, I have no faith in products containing "EZ" or "Trust" in thier titles.
They hardly ever turn out to be easy to use or trustworthy.
