what people talk about ram, they all come in variations and sizes i guess or maybe it's performance. what is the difference between all of these pc's and how do you know which size you have?

pc66, 100, and 133 are SDRAM (an older, slower kind).
the new DDR ram:
pc2100 = 133mhz (but you double it) = 266mhz.
pc2700 = 166mhz (double) = 333mhz
pc3200 = 200mhz = 400mhz
and so on.
so they meann the speed of the ram. :)
oh and sometimes they say DDR266, DDR333 or DDR400 when refering to ddr ram as well. :)
awesome thanks.
WOw im gonna go buy some PC3700 ram:rolleyes:Quote:
