So there I am watching the news and I see people I know, and shops in my town, tonight was the Town xmas lights big switch on, a celebrity was there and loads of people........the tension built and the countdown begun

Sorry, was a reference to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. He spends hours and hours covering his entire house with Christmas lights, then plugs them in and they don't work.

I know that :frusty:

There's one person I do feel sorry for tho, the 6 y/o girl who was throwing the switch, I know her mum she came into work yesterday, she was so excited she had won a painting comp , the prize was to turn on the lights, dunno if their working yet tho :lol:
