Help!! really weird stuff...

well i installed xp and decided not to update because i was getting a new drive in a couple of days...biggest mistake ever because then after a couple of days i could access MSN messenger (it wouldnt sign me in) (NO my account isnt hacked)

i cant access any "Microsoft Sites" so i cant update windows so i tried looking for viruses and deleted all the ones i found and deleted spyware adware...but still no luck...

so i got my new drive....i formatted installed win xp pro... updated with sp2 (from a cd) and still i cant ACCES MSN MESSENGER or go to any microsoft site!! and i cant go to some other sites as well...its so weird its like my IP address is blocked by microsoft or something....and i have ADSL...

HELP ME FIX THIS PLZ!! i havent been on msn the whole weekend!! :( :( :(

The spyware, adware, viruses probably has nothing to do with the problem.

Tried rebooting your modem and router and all the basic stuff already?
does it work with different accounts, or does your account work on other computers?

called isp they said they're having router problems....so gotta wait i guess..

isp says it may take a couple of weeks!!!11 for it to be fixed... :( :(

is it possible if i used a proxy that it might work?

worth a try. nothing to lose and you can always remove the proxy later if it is in fact your isp.
