Bittorrent Share Ratio

I assume that the higher your share ratio the faster your download speed will be??

If so, is there any way to fool the client and boost the share ratio? I can only upload at a mixumum of 29kb/s and so my d/l speed tends to be pretty naff, even though i have a 2mb connection.

Any ideas?>?

Best upload speed 18 Kbs works out just fine thats when you are downloading
