Difficulties with roboform crack

Hi, i downloaded roboform 6.1.7 it had a crack with it but it's not working or at least i can't get it to work. I made it work with an earlier version of this. I've done what it says on the .nfo but it still says that the file is in use?!? All that i leave open is the folder where the patch is in. What am i doing wrong?
