NFSU2 How to Play On-line??

Hi,

Had a version :rolleyes: of this for some time now and want to play on-line against others. Obviously I know this is not possible with my version, but some kind person got me a version for chrimbo :newyear: and was wondering how to now play on-line without having to totally un-install and install again :crying: ?
I don't really want to do this for obvious reasons. :wacko:
Ive checked game and can't find a place to re-enter a CD key etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.
