i gotz teh news on and its reporting on britains floodage.
the reporter guy stood there and said these workers (guys fixing water-pipes) have done more work in three days than what they'd normally do in 4 weeks.
that doesn't say to me "they're working hard now" as loud as it says "see those roadworks that were pissing you off for a month, we coulda done em in three days. just couldn't be bothered" :angry:

Reminds me of one of my summer jobs.
I did more there on a day, than some of them did in three.
The used to take coffee breaks all the time. And since I don't like coffee I kept working, until they started making me take a break too.
Thing is, I think they did that 'cos I made them look bad, rather than out of concern or anything.
