Freaky head spinny wanna hide

Ok obviously someone has spamed my email with the porn and sales and crap junk etc, that does'nt bother me cos it takes only one click to delete, but......someone registered using my email to a forum, and I got an email saying I been put on moderation for bad language :blink: :lol:

Now I got some guy emailing me who reckons he's just been out with my mum :huh:

That means they must have had access to your email to validate their membership.

Not nesasarily, you can log onto many forums without having email validation but can leave a mail address.

Having said that I'll check with aol and get them to tell me if a conection from another number has been made :)

You can use webmail with AOL too, they may not be able to tell. Anyway, you're right that it isn't necessarily that you've been compromised but try to sign up with that forum to see if you can do so without email validation.
