Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
there's some actual real life coffee in the cupboard to make filtered coffee with but there’s no cream to make proper filtered coffee with, only milk to make instant coffee with, if I put some butter in milk and melted it would that make cream?
there is also a field with a cow in it near by, its my understanding the cream comes from cows, would it give me some? :ermm:
instant coffee is always good, but this proper coffee is a rare find you understand
would go and purchase some cream but the time is now 8:33pm and the co-op closes at 8:00pm
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
You haven't got a Spar nearby? I think I may move house if my Spar closed.
Btw, I put ordinary milk in filtered coffee. Tastes alrite, like.
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
You really must live in a cave if the stores close at 8:00. Everything you need is 24/7 here, except alcohol which they stop selling at midnight (and start selling at noon).
I can't help you with your coffee question. I drink instant (Folgers) with whole milk and sugar. The taste is not an issue, I just slam it down for the caffeine, I am not a connoisseur of the stuff.
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
The cow is good but it will come out as milk. In order to get cream first shake the cow. :shifty:
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
I reckon coffee is really made from monkeybaws or something.
The smell alone is enuff to turn me away.
But to answer one of your questions: I daresay butter melted in milk won't be a good substitute for cream, sorry.
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
Make some real filtered coffee and add some milk. That's exactly what I'm drinking right now. :)
Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
your ideas intrigue me and you are each valid opinionated members of society  there is a 24/7 tescos but its a 2 and a half mile walk down unlit country roads, full milk with instant coffee can be, and quite often is teh stuff, but it seems a shame to waste this filtered stuff :ermm:
perhaps i will use full milk and instant coffee for now, and walk to the co-op tomorrow in search of cream and answers, the only problem with this is that it closes at 4pm on sundays, which would mean getting up early :ermm:

Re: Instant coffee or filtered coffee?
Go for the real deal..with milk, if you must. Instant is...well..nasty. Nothing like an excellently made cup of coffee..it is perhaps one of my favorite drinks.
