Why don't e-mail links work for me?

Any time I click on an e-mail link it should open OE, but instead of that, something like 55 IE pages open and they're all the 'page unavailable' thing. It's been doing this for a long time but I'm just now really thinking "why"?

Anyone know why? Do I need to setup OE as some sort of default mail client?

Have you tried this...
Click tools>internet options>progams.

Make sure that Outlook is set as your email client.

Yeah, I've already tried that but but I don't want Outlook, I want Oulook Express. Any other ideas?

What I've posted should allow you to choose any email client installed as your default application.

I thought so too, but when I hit the drop down menu for 'E-mail', the only option is 'Microsoft Office Outlook'.
