First there where Chav's - now tere are YOBS?

I was just in London (will review later) and kept reading in several papers about the YOBS phenonomon. There was no clear explanation in any of the papers of what it actually means but i concluded it was something with Young/Youth who do crime or vandalism or something - could someone please enlighten me?

Yobs came before chavs :ph34r:

Yobs are the proper thugs - Ones who would kick your head in either in a group or solo. And like Rob said, yobs have been round for decades.

Chavs on the other hand are pretty new - Decade old or so. And most of them are little shits who are easily scared solo but grow some balls in a group. More likely to threaten you than do anything about it.

Yeah, yobs (aka Yobbos down here in Aussie land) have been around for as long as I can remember... and I'm no spring chicken.

I think (or hope, rather) all the yuppies died out when the dot com bubble burst back in the 90's.
No great loss, imo.

so we just have to convince the chavs to setup somesort of website business :01:
