Ares is spyware free if u uncheck the crap during the installation.
AFAIK, Ares Lite is from the Ares developers themselves. Its not spyware free persay, but a modified Ares for the low-ended computer user.

Just download it, and during the installation, uncheck the spyware and ur ok.
